lyrics

Every time you wake up from the dream
You're never where you think that you should be

You close your eyes and hope it goes away
They tell you just to take it day by day

Something in your eye
Has got me asking why
You're stronger than all of us
You're stronger than all of us

When everything was thrown right back at you
You always seem to know just what to do

As the hours fade away
You stand your ground and push your fears away

Something in your eye
Has got me asking why
You're stronger than all of us
You're stronger than all of us

When your luck is gone
I know that you will carry on
You're stronger than all of us
You're stronger than all of us

Something in your eye
Has got me asking why
You're stronger than all of us
You're stronger than all of us

When our hope is gone
I know that you will carry on
You're stronger than all of us
You're stronger than all of us

Mark Pierret and Tom Crowell always found common ground with pop music and strong hooks, and this would be at the heart of their writing. Though they never strayed too far from the classic pop and indie rock formula, they would often incorporate elements from their eclectic influences.
